Glockenspiel Clock

In Munich, there was one thing I was really excited to see, and that was the Glockenspiel clock.

The building that it is on has really interesting architecture, which we found out that although it looks really old it's actually not too old.

We patiently waited for it to be 11 AM so we could see the clock in action. During this time (over an hour because we thought it went off at 10)  I was able to take many photos of the building and the clock.

Finally 11 AM arrived and the clock began doing its thing. Now I had high expectations, and I thought I knew what it was going to do, and well....I was wrong. It was the most uneventful 10 mins of my life. I forgot that the technology in the clock hasn't changed for many many years.

It was super slow, and everyone stands in awe waiting for something great to happen and then...... nothing!

Glad I saw it but next time I think I will search YouTube to see what happens before actually getting my hopes up that they would come out and dance around and what not.
