Arc de Triomphe

We began our third day in Paris by sleeping in a little. We were so tired and we woke up to rain and decided to go back to sleep.
After we decided to get up we headed toward the Arc de Triomphe.
This was one of those things I knew we were "supposed to see" but had no idea it would be so neat. We were able to go up like 40 flights of stairs and go to the very top. The views were outstanding.
At the bottom of this monument is the biggest round-a-bout I have ever seen. It's so crazy to watch people drive around it because they don't stop and their are no lanes so I don't know how there are not a million wrecks a day.
Inside there was a museum and it was very small but pretty interesting.
The stairs in this place were KILLER! Going up was not only physically hard but mentally because the space was not very big. So between my blood pressure rising due to clostrophobia and being out of breath it was a cocktail for overheating and sweating. Getting to the top and being outside helped a ton!
The Arc is so beautiful. It had such detail (like everything in Paris!)
