We have been planning a European vacation for years now and been focusing on it for the past few months. Saving money and planning it all out.
We planned and booked everything on our own, so I'm sure we are bound to have some adventures.
We left Indy last night around 7:30 And flew to Detroit, which was a joke! It was a 35 minute flights that took more time to board and taxi to the airport than it did for us to arrive in Detroit. Obviously much quicker than a 4 hour car ride. We flew Delta and it was great.
We left Detroit at 9:30 for an 8 hour flight to Paris, France. We flew Air France through Delta. It was very nice. The staff was great and it felt like their main focus was making sure all guest were comfortable. For example when they served a meal they made sure all seats where in the upright position. If they asked and you didn't do it (like the rude lady in front of us) they physically did it for you while saying Merci!
The flight was smooth but I couldn't sleep! At all. I tried so hard. We were served dinner aboard the flight, which was very good, as well as breakfast.
I had never had an actual meal on a plane so I was impressed that it didn't taste terrible and it was honestly Very good. Maybe I was starving. Lol
Once arriving to Paris we departed the plane and went through customs. All went smooth and peachy, until we realized our debit card didn't work to get cash!
Quick travel tip: when traveling to Europe

After taking the blue RER train to our hotel, we crashed hard. I think it was the best sleep I have had in a long time.
After we got up we decided to walk over to Luxemburg Gardins, which was so pretty. The walk there was breathtaking, not JUST because it was about 44 degrees and super windy with rain, but because the buildings are gorgeous. Every entry door is different.
The statues at the Gardins were so pretty and the details on them were amazing. I could honestly spend all day staring at them.
The trees that line the path towards the palace were super cool.
The palace which is now, I believe, a government building, is in the middle of the Gardins which is pretty much a super
Finally we enjoyed a scrumptious dinner at a restaurant called Mustache. The service was great and the food was like nothing I have ever had but good. I got a chicken dish and it had so many great flavors. I tasted ginger, garlic, cilantro, mint, all kinds of veggies and this awesome sauce. I also enjoyed a great moscato wine.
After dinner we enjoyed desert at the amazing Amorino where we had great gelato and marscapons. It was
